Hi Dreamers!

PYP NYC

Two years ago, I moved to NYC knowing almost no one — and quickly realized I wasn’t the only one.
So in 2024, I started hosting mixers for young Pakistani professionals.
By 2025, over 200 people have come together — building the community I once needed.
One piece of advice I’ll never forget:
“Don’t wait to find your people. Create the space they’ll come to.”
These mixers aren’t just social — they’re where people have found jobs, co-founders, investment ideas, and lifelong friends. Way more effective than cold applying online.
On June 7, I’m hosting one in Chicago.
If you’re based there — or know someone who is — reply to this email and I’ll share the invite.

Want a Sports Scholarship in the U.S.?
If you're a serious athlete and want your undergrad college to pay you to play — this part’s for you.
Here’s how to get on a coach’s radar (and stay there):
1. Build your online recruiting profile
Sign up on platforms like NCSA or SportsRecruits.
📌 Pro tip: NCSA has the biggest network and a more structured process — it's worth the investment.
2. Create a 3–4 minute highlight reel
Coaches don’t have time for a full game. Make a short video with your best in-game moments (no practice clips).
Think of it like your sports résumé — tight, impressive, and real.
3. Email coaches directly
Go to the university’s athletics page, find the coach’s email, and send a personalized message.
A short intro
Your sport + position
Link to your video + profile
(We’ll be sharing email templates soon with @~Aahad — stay tuned.)
4. Use NCSA's messaging (paid feature)
If you’re serious, upgrade. NCSA’s premium lets you message coaches directly — and sometimes that’s the shortcut you need.
